English at Echo Kids

Hello, my name is Mary and I’ve been attending English courses at Echo Kids for 3 years. English at Echo Kids is a fairytale: a fairytale I should tell you, too.
When we first enter the classrom, our lovely teacher (we call her Miss) greets us with a big smile. It is just the beginning of a wonderful lesson. We give all our homework to Miss and next time, she gives it to us, telling each other what he/she did wrong and where he/she has to practise more, in order to speak English better; Miss’s motto is “Practice makes perfect”, and I have to admit she is completely right. After that, we travel to Footprints Club, an interesting club where children do all kind of things, from playing sports to writing articles or organising a radio station, with Joe and Ellie, the two children who give us the oportunity to explore a misterious but so interesting world: the world of English. Almost each lesson from Footprints contains grammar and vocabulary, which we practise each lesson in order to learn new words and learn how and when to use a tense. We’ve been recently studying Present Perfect and Past Simple and we learned the differences beetwen them or when we can use them; let’s not forget about the modal verbs we practise each lesson. We also read “Emma” by Jane Austen, in order to learn new words so we can use them afterwards. We also work in teams and play different games, have debates or present our projects a bout films, music, hobbies and so on.
Every English course at Echo Kids is a pleasure for all of us, but not only for me, as I can see everyone in the classroom smiling when the lesson begins. English courses at Echo Kids are really fun, but each time we learn new things, in order to use them and make our English perfect. The aim of Echo Kids is to learn children a foreign language in a fun way.
